What we collect, and what we do with it.
Effective [DATE]. Spearman & Co. Design, St. Louis, MO.
This policy covers spearmandesign.com. It's written in plain language because that's how we'd want to read it.
What we collect
What you send us. When you request a site audit or contact us, we keep what you type into the form: your name, email, business name, current website, budget range, and your message.
How the site is used. We use analytics (Google Analytics) to see which pages people visit and whether the contact form gets used. This is aggregated and doesn't identify you by name. If you arrived from a business card QR code, the link tells us that, and nothing more.
We don't collect payment details on this site. Invoices are handled separately once we're working together.
What we do with it
We use your details to reply to you, prepare your audit, and, if you hire us, run the project. Form submissions are stored in our email and in a private lead tracker so we don't lose your request. We don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a newsletter.
Who else handles it
A few services process data on our behalf: the form provider that delivers submissions to our inbox, our hosting provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Each has its own privacy policy and we only give them what they need to do their job.
Cookies
The site itself doesn't set cookies to track you. Analytics may use a cookie to tell repeat visits from new ones. You can block cookies in your browser and the site still works.
Your choices
Want to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted? Email spearmanandco@gmail.com and we'll take care of it within a few business days. If you're in a region with specific privacy rights (California, the EU, the UK, among others), those rights apply and the same email is the way to use them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that affects how we treat what you've already sent us, we'll tell you about by email.
